![]() ![]() Great P/W ratio making getting to top speed easy.Derp gun that can cause massive damage, especially if an HE shell penetrates. This is normally used in favor of the 152 mm because it doesn't lose as much credits, making it much easier to grind. The T49 turns from a derp tank, into a normal light tank, in a similar playstyle of the M41 Bulldog. Though many people grind the T49 for the 152 gun, the 90 mm is still a viable option to use. One forgotten aspect of the T49 is the 90 mm gun you're able to mount. One miscellaneous flaw with the T49 is the fact that most games you play, you'll always end up with negative credits, making it difficult grinding with the T49 without a dedicated grinding tank. Regarding the 152 mm gun, it has abysmal dispersion and aim time values, and extremely slow shell velocity, and a long reload. You're also very light, being only 1 ton heavier than the Bulldog, which makes you vulnerable to ramming. You have next to no way to block shots, whether that be AP shells or HE. Making it vulnerable to HE shells from 105-150+ mm guns frontally, and any gun can penetrate with HE upon your sides and rear. Regarding the tank itself, it's very lightly armored. However, the tank also shares the flaws from both tanks. ![]() Such as an HE shell capable of consistently dealing massive damage upon penetration, absurdly high DCD values, and the fact they're both 152 mm guns. The T49's 152 mm gun also shares many aspects to the KV-2's 152 mm howitzer. Such as its very high maneuverability and mobility. The tank shares many aspects of its predecessor, the Bulldog. That is fundamentally what the T49 is when equipped with its massive 152 mm derp gun. Imagine taking the KV-2's 152 mm howitzer and sticking it onto the M41 Bulldog's hull. ![]() It is preceded by the M41 Bulldog, and leads to the T54E1, or the T92E1.
